The outlet says that Vlahovic has just 97 days left on his deal in Turin, and neither he nor Juve want to wait until the last minute to strike an agreement.

The striker is now prioritising remaining at the Allianz Stadium over the chance to join Barcelona or the Premier League, and there is optimism at the Serie A giants that an agreement can be reached.

It is suggested that the current international break could see talks between the parties accelerate. This comes as bad news for Tottenham Hotspur, who may have to look elsewhere to add firepower to their forward line.

Spurs eyeing move for another Juventus striker

Vlahovic is not the only Juve striker on Tottenham’s radar, with reports indicating that the Lilywhites are also monitoring the situation of Jonathan David, who has failed to have the expected impact at the Bianconeri since his switch last summer.

It has been suggested that Juve are willing to cash in on David in order to give themselves the funds needed to strengthen their squad this summer.

Some sources have suggested that Nottingham Forest and West Ham are ready to offer competition to Tottenham for the Canadian international.
