Boy, 15, ‘attacked teacher with kitchen knife after asking for help with work’
A 15-year-old boy has been accused of stabbing his teacher with a kitchen knife while asking for help with his work, a court has heard.
The pupil, who cannot be named for legal reasons, allegedly attacked the female teacher in a classroom in Milford Haven Comprehensive School on Thursday afternoon.
Appearing at Swansea Magistrates Court, the teenager spoke only to confirm his name, address and date of birth.
He was charged with attempted murder, grievous bodily harm, and possession of a bladed article on education premises.
Magistrates heard the woman was left with injuries to her head, finger and back for which she received treatment in hospital.

The boy’s family were in court to watch proceedings on Saturday.
He was remanded into youth detention over the weekend and will appear at Swansea Crown Court on February 9.
