Bindi Irwin’s Adorable Video Shows Grace Warrior Reuniting With Her Unexpected ‘Best Friend'

While the whole Irwin family was in California to support Robert Irwin (and his big win) on Dancing with the Stars, the family is back home in Australia. And within moments of arriving, Bindi Irwin’s daughter Grace Warrior did the cutest thing!
In case you missed it, Bindi shared the most adorable video of her daughter reuniting with her bestie on her Instagram. She shared the video with the caption reading, “H O M E. ???? The first thing Grace wanted to do? See her best friend, Igloo. @australiazoo”
In the video, we see Grace looking so cute in a blue dress as she runs up to her best friend, Igloo. She runs up to him, saying, “Hi, I missed you!” And if your heart doesn’t explode from that, she takes it another step further by feeding him, and with Bindi petting him, saying how loved he is.
We know Grace has always had a soft spot for turtles, but this is something straight out of a children’s book, and it’s giving us the Sunday pick-me-up we needed!
For those who don’t know, Bindi and Powell welcomed their daughter, Grace Warrior, on March 25, 2021, which was exactly one year after their intimate wedding ceremony at the Australia Zoo.
In a previous interview with SheKnows, Bindi discussed how she believes playtime with Grace is one of the most important things she does. She said, “Those moments of connection with play I still draw upon as an adult, and I think that’s really, really special. [P]laytime is so important because it gives kids the opportunity to have those building blocks for the foundation for the rest of their lives.”
