Today, many people want to emulate the elegance and class that Princess Diana channeled. From her skincare and fashion choices to her parenting techniques, everyone wants to have a little bit of Diana in themselves. While we already know quite a bit about her beauty regimen and more, we also know about her go-to meal, and it’s super easy to make at home!
Former palace chef Darren McGrady revealed on YouTube for Delish that Diana’s “favorite” dish was vegetarian stuffed bell peppers, and she had them around “two or three times a week.” You can see the exact video, now resurfaced, below:
It’s true! As we said, she mostly ate vegetarian meals, and while she also jammed on the beet juice, stuffed bell peppers were one of her go-tos, and thanks to McGrady via Simple Recipes, we now know how to recreate it at home.
For the royal-approved recipe, you need four red bell peppers, as well as olive oil, chopped onion, mozzarella cheese, zucchini, a vegetable bouillon cube, and oregano, to name a few.
You can add some chopped bacon if you want more protein, but it’s purely optional!
You start by preheating the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and preparing the peppers. In no time, you’ll be sprinkling the parmesan on and baking for 15 more minutes! And then voila! You get a recipe that Diana loved when she was alive.
