Bindi Irwin’s Mini-Me Daughter Grace Warrior Gives Her Mom the Biggest Hug in Sweet Sunflower Photo
Sweet snuggles with your baby is the antidote to any bad day. It doesn’t matter if your baby is 2 days old or 20-years-old — there is just something about a warm embrace that heals your mama soul. That sunshine has never been more evident than in Bindi Irwin’s latest photo. The Australian wildlife conservationist posted a picture cuddling with her daughter Grace Warrior, 4, and it’s a bright spot of pure joy.
“So lucky to be this beautiful girl’s mama. ????” Irwin, who shares Grace with husband Chandler Powell, captioned the photo. The picture was taken in Australia, on a beautiful, bright and sunny day. Irwin wears her Australia Zoo khaki as she stands in front of an arch made with sunflowers. Grace holds onto her mom’s back, giving her a big hug and leaning in to see her mama’s face.
The sun is shining on this sweet duo, glowing off of Grace’s brown curls, and it’s a moment of happiness and love that will instantly bring a smile to your day.
Bindi’s mom (and Grace’s “Bunny”) Terri Irwin commented, “So much love.❤️”
One person pointed out, “Love this pic. You know, the way you two are positioned creates a heart shape! ❤️”
“Get this photo framed and on the mantel, it’s sooo pretty!!” another wrote. Someone else commented, “Two beauties!!”
Bindi takes family cuddle time very seriously. In an interview with Parents in February, she shared, “My biggest superpower as a parent are my hugs. Any time Grace is having a big emotion — sadness, frustration, even joy — she asks if she can have a cuddle. Sometimes our hugs are 10 or 15 minutes long.”
How sweet is that? Grace definitely understands the importance of connection, and her mom prioritizes that. “I don’t care what else is going on. I am never the first one to break a hug,” Bindi revealed. “She can let go when she’s ready.”
What an inspirational rule to live by!
