Five-star wing Jaxon Richardson raves about ‘great’ Alabama visit; Ratliff twins set visit

Class of 2026 five-star wing Jaxon Richardson visited Alabama this past weekend along with fellow five-stars Caleb Holt and Dylan Mingo.
They were on campus for the Alabama football team’s 38-14 beatdown of Wisconsin.
“The Alabama [visit] was great!” Richardson, the son of former NBA player and two-time Slam Dunk champion Jason Richardson, told ZAGSBLOG.
Asked what the message from head coach Nate Oats and his staff was, Richardson said: “Just my work ethic and how I can make an impact on both the offensive end and defensive end.”
“They just been showing me love since my freshman year,” he told ZAGSBLOG in July. “They’ve kept that communication going since freshman year and that’s just meant a lot, keeping that relationship alive over these years and just investing in me. They’ve loved me since I wasn’t really doing much and now I’m doing this. So that appreciation just means a lot to me.”
Richardson has also visited Miami and next heads to USC this coming weekend.
After that he has trips planned to Creighton (Oct. 18), Ole Miss (Nov. 1) and Louisville (Nov. 8).
RATLIFF TWINS TO VISIT ALABAMA
7-foot twins Adonis and Darius Ratliff will visit Alabama this coming weekend, beginning Friday.
Head coach Nate Oats and assistant Preston Murphy were at Archbishop Stepinac to see the twins last week.
“They’re recruiting hard,” Adonis told ZAGSBLOG. “They want us to go to the school and just want us to be part of their team. They let their bigs play like a big guard position, make reads or pick and pop into a DHO or hitting a slip or hitting the back door cut, so even bringing the ball up. So it’s just a play style, like everyone [can] be a big guard.”
