WNY lacrosse player dies in car crash
BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) -- A Marquette lacrosse player from Western New York died in a car crash Friday night, the school announced.
Noah Snyder, 20, of Getzville, and teammate Scott Michaud died as a result of the crash. Four other teammates were in the car at the time of the accident, the school said.
Snyder was a student in the College of Business Administration and was previously named to the Big East All-Academic Team. He was a member of the Buffalo Bandits' youth lacrosse program and a graduate of St. Joe's High School.
"Please keep Noah and Scott’s parents, siblings and families, and the Marquette Athletics and college communities in your prayers," Marquette president Dr. Kimo Ah Yun said in a statement. "Noah and Scott’s lives were taken too soon and we share in the heartbreak of their teammates, coaches and those who knew them personally."
