Multiple arrests made in Iberia Parish vehicle theft ring
IBERIA PARISH, La. (KLFY) – Multiple individuals, including juveniles, were arrested in Iberia Parish in connection to a string of vehicle thefts.
According to authorities, an investigation in reference to numerous vehicle burglaries and auto thefts in Iberia Parish led to the Iberia Parish Sheriff’s Office executing a search warrant in the 400 block of C.L. Smith Road.
Officials said during the search, several stolen items were recovered and as a result, the following arrests were made:
Mariah Diamond Sheehan, 18 -bond $160,000:
- Four counts of accessory after the fact to vehicle burglary
Jase David Owens, 18, -bond $112,500:
- One count of theft
- Four counts of simple burglary
- One count of theft of a motor vehicle
Ratajh Paulshawn Randle, 20 -bond $112,500:
- One count of theft
- Four counts of simple burglary
- One count of theft of a motor vehicle
Juvenile:
- Accessory after the fact to vehicle burglary
Juvenile:
- One count of theft
- Four counts of simple burglary
- One count of theft of a motor vehicle
Owens was previously arrested in January for similar crimes.
Officials said Sheehan, Owens and Randle were booked into an Iberia Parish jail. Both juveniles were booked into a juvenile detention facility.
