Opening Day Hibs Kids Success!
It was all smiles at Meadowbank Stadium as young Hibees enjoyed a huge Hibs win and alongside a range of different activities formed as part of our first Women’s Hibs Kids matchday of the season!
Hundreds of Hibees witnessed Rosie Livingstone and Kathleen McGovern smash in the goals as the girls ran out 5-1 winners over Aberdeen in our opening day SWPL fixture.
There were several activations in place around the ground before the match kicked-off, with face painting and football challenges just two of the hits amongst young supporters!
Sunshine the Leith Lynx was also in attendance, meeting and taking photos with young fans; while balloon art, the snack van and Champions-themed cupcakes were popular with the Hibees at the game.
After going undefeated last season on Hibs Kids matchdays, Hibs Women carried on the tradition by sealing all three points at Meadowbank on Sunday.
There are three more designated Women’s Hibs Kids fixtures this season:
- Montrose, Sunday 14 September
- Partick Thistle, Sunday 2 November
- Hamilton Academical, Sunday 25 January
Our memberships are still available to purchase, granting young Hibees access to our selected Men’s and Women’s Hibs Kids fixtures for £25 (or just £15 for Season Ticket Holders).
All young Hibees who sign up will receive a welcome pack with gifts and, as part of the membership, there are several different perks – ranging from the chance to win a mascot experience at Easter Road and access to an Open Training Session.
