Girl, 15, raped in the Bronx; police searching for suspect
CROTONA PARK, The Bronx (PIX11) — Police are searching for a suspect wanted in connection with the rape of a 15-year-old girl near Crotona Park last weekend.
According to police, the unidentified man raped the teenager inside a residence in the area of Prospect Avenue and East 170th Street around 8 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 10.
The man, believed to be between the ages of 17 and 19, fled from the scene. He was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, light-colored shorts, white shoes and a white knit hat, police said.
The girl was taken to an area hospital in stable condition, according to police.
