NBA 2K26 The W Details

The latest Courtside Report previews The W in NBA 2K26. For those who are unfamiliar with the mode, it’s the WNBA’s answer to MyCAREER, and is only available in the PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S versions of the game.

Compared to the MyTEAM blog, it’s a much shorter preview. Some of the key features that are spotlighted include the new Pre-Draft Interviews, GOAT Challenges, Press Conferences, and Social Media interactions. Basically, The W in NBA 2K26 will include more of the features and off-court flavour content that we’ve seen in NBA MyCAREER over the years.

NBA 2K26 The W Blog Summary

• As in previous games, The W – the WNBA version of MyCAREER – will only be available in the Gen 9 version of NBA 2K26 (PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S).
• An interactive Pre-Draft Interview will influence where your player ends up, giving you control over your destiny through the answers you choose.
• Defeating rival WNBA stars unlocks their contact information, along with GOAT Challenges. Completing these challenges climbs the ladder of all-time WNBA greats, and unlocks rewards from Skill Boosts to accelerated Badge progression.
• Social Media will represent your current star power, and includes the ability to engage with a number of personalities who cover the WNBA.
• Press Conferences are an opportunity to discuss stories from around The W, while also role-playing and demonstrating your player’s personality for a more immersive experience.
• New rewards are available in The W Online in NBA 2K26, including mascot costumes. VC can now also be earned in The W Online, along with WNBA-related MyTEAM content.
