NEW YORK CITY (PIX11) – The US Open starts this week in New York City, bringing tennis greats from across the globe to Queens.
The first round of qualifying matches is Monday, kicking off three weeks of the tournament that culminates on Sept. 6 and 7 with the men's and women's singles finals.
Tickets are still available for matches throughout the tournament, but you won't get a seat in the finals for under $270.
Here’s everything you need to know about the 2025 US Open:
Where is the US Open?
The US Open takes place at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing Meadows. Finals will take place at the Arthur Ashe Stadium inside the tennis center.
US Open schedule
The tournament starts Monday at 11 a.m. with qualifying matches, which run through Aug. 21.
The mixed doubles tournament will take place during the first week, with the finals on Aug. 20. Men’s and women’s doubles start in the tournament’s second week.
Men’s and Women’s singles start on Aug. 24. The women’s final is on Sept. 6 at 4 p.m., and the men’s final is on Sept. 7 at 2 p.m.

Tickets
Tickets are still available for matches throughout the tournament. Tickets to the men’s final on Sept. 7 cost between $700 and over $19,000. Tickets to the women’s final cost between $270 and over $17,000.

Fan Week 2025
The free fan experience starts on Monday and lasts through Saturday on the tennis center grounds. Some events require registration for a free Fan Access Pass.
Each day, you can watch qualifying tournaments for the final 16 spots in the US Open Singles Main Draw. Admission is free to the public.

Parking and transportation
Parking costs $40 for vehicles and $80 for buses. The parking lots will change based on Mets games, and drivers can also park at the Shops at Skyview.
For subway travel, take the No. 7 subway train to Mets-Willets Point Station. The LIRR will also travel to the station via the Port Washington line.
