National Guardsman accused of trying to smuggle contraband

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) -- A member of the New York Army National Guard was arrested for allegedly attempting to smuggle contraband into Collins Correctional Facility, the Department of Corrections and Community Supervision announced.
The name of the person has yet to be released.
"DOCCS does not tolerate the introduction of contraband into our facilities, and we will ensure that anyone who attempts to do so is held accountable to the fullest extent of the law," DOCCS said in a statement.
