Malta restaurant closes, sold to new owners

MALTA, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Dunning Street Station, located at 2853 Route 9 in Malta, has closed after 10 years in business. Owners Bob McKenna and Scott Ringwood made the announcement on the restaurant's Facebook page on July 17.
"After an incredible 10 year journey, we have made the heartfelt decision to sell Dunning Street Station," read the post. "We would like to sincerely thank all of our amazing customers and dedicated staff who made The Station such a special place over the past decade."
According to the Facebook post, the restaurant space has been sold to local group Harvest Grain of Malta. "We wish them all the best and know they will carry on the spirit of hospitality and quality you have all come to love," said McKenna and Ringwood.
McKenna and Ringwood also own Lake Ridge Restaurant in Round Lake. Gift certificates for Dunning Street Station will be honored at Lake Ridge, they said.
"From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for 10 unforgettable years," read the Facebook post. "We are beyond grateful for your support, your friendship, and your memories."
