More than 25,000 without power as severe storms pass through Central Ohio

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) -- Severe weather on Saturday knocked out power to over 24,000 customers in Central Ohio, with the majority affecting customers in Franklin County.
As of 4:45 p.m., AEP Ohio reported 23,391 customer outages in Franklin County alone, as well as 671 in Licking County.

Widespread outages were reported along the north and northeast sections of Columbus. AEP's outage map shows that crews are working to restore power by early Saturday evening.
