The Pingel Top Fuel Motorcycles lit up the 1,000-foot at the American Rebel Light NHRA Nationals with flames, fury, and high-stakes drama. Here’s how the action unfolded through eliminations:
Eliminations – Round 1
Mitch Brown vs. Elmeri Salakari
Mitch Brown advanced with a 5.437 @ 199.58 MPH after Elmeri Salakari went red with a -0.116 reaction time. Despite Salakari’s quicker early numbers (.073 to the 60 ft and 2.817 to the 330), the foul start handed the win to Brown, who laid down a solid and consistent pass.
Bob Malloy vs. Micah Fenwick
Bob Malloy got the win with a 6.660 @ 122.79 MPH as Fenwick struggled down track, coasting to an 8.493 @ 81.66 MPH. Malloy left strong with a .103 light and had a clean pass to the stripe, easily taking the round.
Larry “Spiderman” McBride – Bye Run
McBride opened eliminations with an earned solo, posting a solid 6.239 @ 119.84 MPH after clocking a 0.135 reaction time and a 4.397 to the 660 mark.
Semi-Finals
Bob Malloy – Bye Run
With the ladder favoring him, Malloy took a bye into the final. However, his bike experienced major issues—only creeping to a 20.055-second ET at just 43.32 MPH, suggesting mechanical trouble.
Larry McBride vs. Mitch Brown
McBride delivered a monster 5.805 @ 162.55 MPH to knock out Mitch Brown, who ran a competitive 5.897 @ 194.13 MPH. McBride’s .082 reaction time and clean 2.767 to the 330 gave him the edge early and he never looked back.
Final Round
McBride vs. Malloy
In the final, Larry “Spiderman” McBride unleashed a dominating 4.986 @ 232.67 MPH pass, the quickest and fastest run of eliminations. Malloy had a decent launch (.104 RT) but shut off early, slowing to a 6.709 @ 111.69 MPH. McBride’s 203.49 MPH at the 660-foot marker hinted at the jaw-dropping top-end power he carried through the finish line.
Event Winner: Larry McBride – 4.986 ET @ 232.67 MPH
McBride once again proved why he’s the king of Top Fuel Motorcycle, overcoming every challenge and capping off the weekend with a jaw-dropping final pass.

McBride stole the show in Q2 with a jaw-dropping 4.831 ET at 242.93 MPH, resetting the high mark for the weekend. He backed it up in Q3 with a 4.852 @ 238.26, showing consistency and dominance after an early shutoff in Q1.

- Micah Fenwick had a quick run at 5.991 @ 156.63
- Elmeri Salakari struggled with traction and posted a 7.974
