Rebuilding After The Fires: Altadena, CA Supply The Ride Giveback

Last weekend, TSP celebrated the official ribbon-cutting ceremony at the Brooklyn Banks, marking the return of one of skateboarding’s most iconic spots! After 15 long years, we’re beyond thrilled to see this legendary space reopened, legal, and accessible to the public once again.

Shout-out to our incredible partners at Gotham Park, Vans, VF Foundation, Steve Rodriguez, and the City of New York for making this moment possible. Thanks to everyone’s hard work and commitment, we now have a full city block of refurbished skate space, with much of the original brick still in place, returned to the streets of NYC!

Its reopening marks not just the return of a historic skate spot, but also a significant win for skatepark advocacy and the tireless work of those fighting to preserve and create public skate spaces. This is a major milestone for the entire skate community!

TIME100 Honors Tony Hawk for Shaping the Future of Skateboarding and Social Impact

We are proud to announce that TSP Founder Tony Hawk has been named to the 2025 TIME100 Philanthropy List, recognizing his transformative work in charitable giving and social impact.

Tony’s influence extends far beyond his legendary career in skateboarding. His work in making skateboarding accessible to youth in underserved communities is just as impactful. As TIME puts it, “Hawk’s legacy goes beyond medals and trick lists. It’s written in concrete—literally.”

We’re proud to be part of Tony’s vision to expand access to skateparks and empower youth. Feeling inspired? Your support can help The Skatepark Project continue to provide spaces where kids can express themselves, stay active, and connect through skateboarding.

Paliskates Fire Relief Skate Jam & Supply the Ride Event at Stoner Park

This past weekend, we rolled out to Stoner Park in Los Angeles with an incredible crew of skaters, brands, and supporters to stand behind a true cultural anchor: Paliskates. For 25 years, the shop has been the go-to gathering spot in the Palisades, where generations of skaters found their first board and connected with their community.

Just weeks after celebrating their milestone anniversary, Paliskates faced a devastating loss when their flagship location was destroyed in the Palisades Fire.

The Paliskates Fire Relief Skate Jam brought together local skaters and kids for a day full of connection, celebration, and community spirit. The event featured pro demos and autograph signings, exciting games of S.K.A.T.E. and best trick throwdowns, and epic giveaways—including a week at skate camp! And thanks to our Supply the Ride program, in partnership with Exposure Skate, 34 kids received brand-new skateboards.

This was more than just a skate event—it was a meaningful show of support for the Palisades skate community and proof that skateboarding is there when it matters most.

Supply the Ride Gear Giveaway & Community Block Party

TSP had the incredible opportunity to team up with Gotham Park and Vans for a Community Block Party at the iconic Brooklyn Banks. This event was all about giving back to the community and empowering youth through skateboarding.

With support from local skate coaches, we hosted a free skate clinic where young people got their first push, learned new skills, and built confidence on the board. Thanks to our amazing partners at Deluxe Distribution, Crailtap, Skate One, Triple 8, and YETI, we were able to give away skateboards, helmets, pads, and custom water bottles, ensuring every kid had the essential gear to keep skating.

With over 5,000 attendees, the day was a powerful reminder of how skateboarding brings people together and fosters a sense of community.
