Acadia Parish Sheriff's deputies responded at approximately 6:30 a.m. Sunday to a report of a domestic disturbance.
Investigators said the suspect and the victim were at their residence when the suspect allegedly hit the victim after an argument. The victim went to bed and the suspect allegedly entered the bed and committed sexual battery on the victim, officials said.
According to authorities, the victim then entered a truck, attempting to leave the residence.
