Art & Ag Tour returns to Washington County on Sunday
(NEWS10) - The Art and Ag Tour will return to Washington County on Sunday, May 4. The free self-guided tour is an opportunity for people to visit local farms where they can meet farmers, artists, and artisans.
Nine farms are participating across six towns throughout the county this year. More than 30 artists will be on site throughout the nine locations, representing a wide range of mediums.
"It’s exactly one week before Mother’s Day and so this would be a really great way to find a unique gift for mom or bring mom out on a Sunday drive a week early and drive her around beautiful Washington County. It’s going to be a gorgeous day,” said Jessica Ziehm, the owner and operator of the Tiashoke Farm & Store.
Following its popularity last year, the event returns for its second year. It takes place Sunday, May 4 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Here's a list of the participating locations:
- Scotlander Brewing Company
- Dove Haven Farm
- Ghost Light Farm
- Victory View Vineyard
- Lot 32 Flower Farm
- Hicks Orchard & Slyboro Ciderhouse
- Tiashoke Farm Store
- Sperry Family Farm
- South Dominion Vineyard
There is no admission fee and it will take place rain or shine.
