Recession possibility is a toss-up, Huntington Private Bank CIO says
The United States is experiencing a period of policy volatility that centers on trade tensions with China. That was the message delivered Wednesday by John Augustine, Huntington Private Bank’s chief investment officer, at a luncheon at Toledo’s Inverness Club. In offering his observations on the current economic outlook, Mr. Augustine said it was a toss-up as to whether investment and trade difficulties will force the country into a recession in the first half of the 2025.
