Search efforts end for 8-yr-old Clara Robinson
DURANT, Okla. (KFOR) - Efforts to find 8 year-old Clara Robinson have officially ended after four months, according to group search officials.
The Sherman Police Department said the Robinson family was involved in a crash in an area near Sherman, Texas, on Christmas Eve. They were traveling from Oklahoma to McKinney, Texas, for the holiday.
Authorities say their car was swept away by floodwaters. Sherman Fire Rescue and Sherman Police rescued four out of six people in the car.
Will Robinson who was a coach in the Durant Independent School and also a coach with The Owen Foundation, a local non-profit, died trying to save his daughter, according to authorities.
Memorial arrangements have not been released at the time of this publishing.
