Girl Dad Rupert Grint Secretly Welcomed Another Daughter & She Has a Totally Unique Color Name
We all know that Harry Potter alum Rupert Grint is a proud girl dad to his daughter Wednesday. But surprise! Turns out he’s a proud girl dad of two!
On April 27, 2025, Grint shared a truly heartwarming snapshot of himself and partner Georgia Groome’s newborn daughter. He shared the photo with the caption reading, “Secret Child Slightly Revealed’ Introducing Goldie G. Grint. ⭐️ A 10/10 baby (so far). Shout out to @alex.digesu for always delivering ????.”
That’s right, he and Groome secretly welcomed another daughter into the world, and she truly is a lil ray of sunshine. We can see their newborn daughter bundled up in a leopard print jacket, with a gray cardigan, and a monogrammed onesie that reads “Goldie.”
Now, can we talk about the name? Goldie is so sweet! It’s an English name that means “made of gold,” and even gilded. Talk about giving your little one a victorious new name!
For those who don’t know, Grint and Groome have been dating since 2011. They’re one of the most private celebrity couples because it’s not publicly known how they met. (But many think they could’ve met through mutual former co-star Tom Felton, who starred alongside Grint in the Harry Potter movies and The Disappeared in 2008 with Groome.)
They’ve only made a few public appearances during that time, and rarely talk about one another in interviews. However, in Nov 2020, Grint confirmed they became parents by joining Instagram and sharing a pic of their firstborn daughter, Wednesday. He shared the update with the caption reading, “Hey Instagram….only 10 years late, but here I am. Grint on the Gram! Here to introduce you all to Wednesday G. Grint. Stay safe, Rupert.”
And now, they welcomed a daughter named Goldie in 2025!
In a previous interview with Entertainment Tonight, Grint revealed how much he loves being a papa.
“It’s great. I’m absolutely loving being a dad. It’s just the best thing,” he said. “It’s amazing how it completely kind of takes over everything. It’s all I really care about, so it’s been great.”
These celebrity fathers are all proud to be “girl dads.”
