Second suspect in January Church Point murder arrested after Jennings police chase
JENNINGS, La. (KLFY) -- A man wanted in connection with a January murder in Church Point has been arrested in Jennings, authorities said.
Tyren Chavis, 30, is the second suspect in the murder of Eric St. Julien on Jan. 28. Joseph Casey Wilridge Jr. was previously arrested in connection with the same incident.
Chavis was located in Jennings this afternoon during a traffic stop in the area of E. Nezpique and Louise St. After initially fleeing from police, he crashed into a tree on Penny Street and was arrested, officials said.
Bond details were not released.
