Albany boathouse cat finds forever home
ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — An Albany boathouse cat named Dorito has found his happy ending! The one-year-old gray cat, who was found and cared for by the Albany Rowing Center team, has been adopted.
NEWS10 first reported on Dorito in late February. Back then, he was a regular visitor of the Albany Rowing Center shed and a central member of the team.
"I think it was something to look forward to at the end of the day and it brought more people to practice I think just so they can see the cat," rower Ella Cuoco told NEWS10's Vanessa Blasi.
Now, Dorito has found his forever home with a family in Glenville. According to the Albany rowing team, who received numerous inquiries about him, Dorito was adopted less than a day after the NEWS10 story aired.
