Thibodaux man died from camper trailer explosion and fire
BATON ROUGE, La (KLFY) -- Deputies are investigating an explosion and fire that claimed the life of a 63 year old Thibodaux man.
According to firefighters, the explosion and fire occurred on Wednesday around 3 p.m. The St. John Fire Department responded to a report of a camper trailer explosion and fire located in the 100 block of Greenwood Plantation Road in Thibodaux, said authorities.
When firefighters arrived, they found the camper trailer on fire and the victim in an adjacent home. The victim died due to injuries and exposure to flames.
At this time, the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
