Malta dog care facility opens new building on Route 9
MALTA, N.Y. (NEWS10)-- A Saratoga County doggie daycare facility celebrated the opening of its Route 9 location in Malta on Thursday. Charlie's Stay and Play, formerly Mahogany Ridge, opened the doors of the new building, ready to offer its wide range of services, from daycare to boarding and even training.
Staffed by animal lovers with years of experience caring for them, the pet care facility was designed with the pet's comfort in mind. Officials said personalized care options, including baths before pickup, dog massages, and brushing, are available.
In addition to personalized care options, pet owners can purchase A la carte options for medication dispensing and home visits to check on their pet's well-being when owners are away. Owners also have a chance to sign their dogs up for obedience and agility training.
The ribbon cutting was also in celebration of National Love Your Pet Day. Owner Lisa Mitzen said she and the staff are thrilled to be a part of the Malta community.
"Our mission is to offer a place where pets feel safe, happy, and loved, whether they’re here for the day or staying for longer periods," Mitzen said. “We value our long-time members and are thrilled to be able to expand our services and welcome new members.”
