PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Snow continues to fall around western Oregon: Blanketing the coast and piling up throughout the Coast Range and the Cascades.
A number of schools remain closed, and areas of Highway 101 are under chain restrictions as Western Oregon continues to have a widespread snow day. KOIN 6 has compiled photos and videos from around the region that show the beautiful and potentially hazardous winter weather.

Snowy roads caused a school bus to lose control and crash into an oncoming car in Jackson County Monday. No children were on the bus at the time of the crash and there were no injuries, the Jackson County Sheriff's Office said. (JCSO)

Snow is in the forecast for the northern Oregon Coast for the rest of the work week and could continue into the weekend.
