One falls through the ice in Lake George
LAKE GEORGE, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- One adult was rescued after falling through the ice at Lake George on Saturday, fire officials said. The call came in at 12:25 p.m. and the Warren County Marine Rescue Unit was deployed.
There were three adults ice skating when one person fell through about 300 feet from the shore, per the Lake George Fire Department. It happened near 3738 Lake Shore Drive in Diamond Point.
50 rescuers were on the scene. The person was rescued by being put on a floating sled and pulled back to shore.
