Man sentenced consecutive terms for child sex crimes
BALLSTON SPA, N.Y. (NEWS10)-- A Saratoga County judge sentenced a Saratoga Springs man to consecutive terms for rape and promoting an obscene sexual performance by a child on Tuesday. Michael May pleaded guilty to the promotion of an obscene sexual performance by a child charge in November 2023 and the rape charge in October 2024.
The Saratoga County District Attorney's Office said May was sentenced to one and a third years to four years in prison for the child sex crime. That sentence will run consecutive to his four-year third-degree rape sentence, followed by 10 years of probation.
