Democrats for Life Won 97% of its Races While Kamala and Her Abortion Agenda Were Defeated

There’s more evidence that the 2024 election was a repudiation of abortion.

Democrats for Life of America said this week that 97% of its endorsed pro-life candidates won their races in last week’s election. While kamala Harris and her abortion agenda lost in a landslide election, pro-life Democrats fared well.

Democrats for Life endorsed 39 candidates in the election and 37 of them won outright while Sharon Weston Broome is headed to a runoff in her race for mayor of East Baton Rouge Parish in Louisiana.

“While Democrats lost from sea to shining sea last week, pro-life Democrats won — 97% of our endorsed candidates won last week,” said Democrats for Life President Kristen Day in a Tuesday statement. “Our party will have a fight over its future in the coming days and weeks, and here’s the truth: We are the best new way forward for the Democratic Party and America.”

Many of the candidates ran for the state legislature in various states while others sought city and county positions. But all of them oppose abortion.

That’s a contrast to Kamala, who focused almost entirely on abortion but still lost.
