My feet always get freezing during the winter – my £1 hack will keep them toasty, with no need to put the heating on
A WOMAN has revealed her £1 hack for keeping your feet toasty at warm throughout winter, without needing to put the heating on.
Summer now appears to be well and truly over, and many of us have likely been struggling to keep warm this week as we are battered with a deluge of wind and rain.
It may be tempting to turn the heating on at the first sign of autumn, however with energy bills set to rise and the Winter Fuel Payment scrapped for millions this is not an affordable option for countless Britons.
Anna Grace Averett revealed that her feet always get freezing in the winter, so she has come up with a three-point plan to ensure they stay as toasty as possible.
Merino Wool Socks
Taking to TikTok, Anna Grace said that it “all starts with the sock”, and recommended Merino wool.
She advised getting a really thick pair to wear around the house and a slightly thinner pair for wearing outside, so that you can squeeze them into your winter boots.

Foot Warmers
Anna Grace said that foot warmers are an “absolute must” for wearing outside.
“These will save your life”, she said.

Ugg Insoles
Anna Grace said that although Uggs are great for keeping your feet warm, they aren’t appropriate to wear for all occasions.
However, you can get furry Ugg insoles that you can place inside most boots.
“I really love them in my Dr Martens”, Anna said.
Anna said that this way you don’t have to have a different pair of shoes for the summer and the winter, and can just pop the insoles in when it gets cold.
