A WOMAN with body acne has revealed the go-to buy that eliminated the stubborn spots in two days.

She wished she had tried the hair product earlier because of how quickly the budget buy worked.

Reddit user IjustlikereadingAITA shared her body acne concerns in a post on the platform.

“Truncal acne has been an issue for me for years but it’s got particularly bad recently,” she said.

Also known as back acne, it is caused by sweat, oils, pressure, friction, and occlusion around the area.

“I had loads of angry spots all over my chest which was making me incredibly self-conscious, and my back and shoulders were even worse,” she added.

She revealed her secret to success that she previously disregarded but decided to give a try.

“I remember reading on here once that Head & Shoulders shampoo helps clear up truncal acne and I kinda disregarded it,” she said.

At that point, she was willing to try anything and said the “worst case scenario” was that she “wasted” some money.

“I wish I’d used Head & Shoulders on my chest and back acne years ago,” she wrote.

The affordable beauty product contains tea tree oil and is paraben-free.

After swapping shower gel for the Head & Shoulders shampoo, her mind was blown.

She said she rubs the hair product all over her body with a loofah and then uses her “normal moisturizer” afterward.

“In the space of TWO DAYS, all my chest spots have disappeared,” she raved.

The Reddit user admitted she still has a few on her back, but the number of spots has significantly reduced.

“I have no clue how or why it works but I’m going to continue with it!” she added.

Although it worked well for her skin, she admitted that “everyone’s skin is different,” so it might not work for all.

“I really would encourage anyone on here who’s struggling with ‘bacne’ to at least try it,” she said.

“I don’t really have much back acne, but I’ll try,” another Redditor commented.

“Hm, I’ll give it a shot,” another said.
