DEC searching for missing 77-year-old Johnsburg camper

JOHNSBURG, N.Y. (NEWS10)-- The Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) is asking the public for help in its search for camper Michael Zirpoli, 77, who was last seen on Thursday, July 16, around 3 p.m. in Johnsburg. DEC Forest Rangers began their search for Zirpoli on Friday.
The DEC said the public should avoid approaching Zirpoli if they see him. Anyone with information about Zirpoli or have a suspected sighting of him should call (833) 697-7264 press 2 to speak with a dispatcher directly. Stick with NEWS10 as more information becomes available.
