Anne Arundel Police are investigating a homicide Friday night in Severn.
Police said they believe the victim, 34-year-old Keion McKinney, left a townhome and was shot by a man in the backyard. The man fled. Police were called around 7:19 p.m. Friday to the 1600 block of Meade Village Circle, where they found McKinney suffering from gunshot wounds.
According to police, the killing “appears to be a targeted incident,” and there is “no threat to the community.”
