Success in Carlsbad, California for Fujikura
#1 DRIVER, WOOD AND HYBRID SHAFT AT THE NCAA DIVISION 1 MEN’S NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP
Carlsbad, California (May 29, 2024) Fujikura, the leader in performance golf shafts, was honored to be the #1 driver, wood and hybrid shaft of choice at the NCAA Division 1 Men’s National Championship.
Taking place just around the corner from Fujikura HQ in Carlsbad, California. Throughout the week, Fujikura dominated the impressive field that included some of the best amateur golfers from around the world. In total, 50.8% of the field used a Fujikura driver shaft, with another 46.5% in the wood shaft count and 42.1% in the hybrid shaft count.
With Fujikura driver shafts making up over 50% of the field at the NCAA Men’s National Championships, there were more Fujikura driver shafts in play than all other brands combined.
Over on the DP World Tour, it was another victory for Fujikura shafts with a win for VENTUS at the Soudal Open. The champion in Belgium used the VENTUS TR Blue 6-X in his driver and the VENTUS TR Red 7-X in his 3-wood.
At the Kitchen Aid Senior PGA Championship, it was another victory for Fujikura shafts. The winner at Harbor Shores Golf Club in Michigan used the VENTUS Red 7-X in his 3-wood and VENTUS Red 8-X in his 7-wood.
Over on the PGA Tour, Fujikura was once again the #1 driver and wood shaft. In total, at the Charles Schwab Challenge, 40.6% of the field used a Fujikura driver shaft, with another 36.1% in the wood shaft count.
