Report: Spurs could ‘sink the blow’ for 16-goal forward after holding talks
Inter-News.it have reported that Inter Milan have to be most wary of Tottenham Hotspur in their efforts to sign Albert Gudmundsson, with the Lilywhites said to have been in contact with Genoa over a deal for the forward.
The report backs up what has been widely reported over the last few weeks, stating that Inter are battling the likes of Tottenham, Napoli and Juventus for Gudnumundsson’s signature.
It is revealed that the Nerazzurri sporting director Piero Ausilio will now have to decide on a possible approach for the Iceland international, explaining that the club face a ‘big risk’ in the form of competition from Tottenham.
The Premier League side are said to be keen on securing the 26-year-old’s services this summer, having been in contact with Genoa for ‘some time’ over a deal.
Tottenham are ready to make a bid for Albert Gudmundsson
The report says that the Lilywhites may be ready to ‘sink the blow’ for Gudmundsson through a big offer over the coming weeks.
Genoa are thought to value their star man at €30m-€35m (£25.5m-£29.8m) and the outlet claims that Ange Postecoglou’s men will not have any issues meeting their demand.

The asking price will not be a problem for Tottenham but the North London side may not find it very easy to convince Gudmundsson regarding the move as I doubt Postecoglou would be able to offer the forward any assurances regarding game time.
