Live Coverage: Severe storms in western Oklahoma
Several strong storms with the possibility of producing tornadoes, large hail, and high winds.
Storms will form late afternoon in northwest Oklahoma. There is a smaller chance that a storm or two will make it in southwestern Oklahoma, but that is not as likely as storms northwest.
The storms will then move eastward. If they can stay single cells, the hail and tornado risk will increase toward sunset.
Storms may congeal into a line, which would present a high damaging wind threat to central and northern Oklahoma into the evening hours.
Make sure to have multiple ways to receive warnings and stay tuned through this evening!
