B&M Fans declare ‘summer’s over’ after shopper bags BBQ scanning at tills for just 10p
B&M fans have declared “summers over” after a savvy shopper bagged an incredible bargain.
The man couldn’t believe his luck when he bought a BBQ for just 10p and posted on Facebook to spread the word.
He wrote: “Bargain of the day get yourself to B&M instant BBQ 10p bonus.”
Viewers appeared impressed with the bargain with one writing, “cheap skate,” and another joking, “Summers over.”
It comes as B&M has drastically cut the price of a gadget which shoppers say is “perfect for the garden”.
The popular discount store is currently selling a Goodmans “mini projector” for just £20, with the usual retail price being £69.
A bargain hunter recently spotted the deal and went onto the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group of Facebook to share the news.
They wrote: “Scanned through the till & on the app at £20!!”
The post was a big hit with other savvy shoppers who were excited by the prospect of snapping up a deal.
One person simply wrote “I want one,” and tagged a couple of friends too.
And these arn’t the only incredible B&M offers to hit the shelves lately as shoppers are flocking to the stores for the “best little trees” which are scanning for as little as £4 at the tills.
The bargain is perfect for gardening fans who want to add both colour and height to their gardens.
In B&M Salix Flamingo plants are going for £4 each or you can pick up three for £10.
The Salix Flamingo also known as the Hakuro-Nishiki willow tree is a striking spring tree with beautiful pink leaves that erupt into colour every year.
The Salix Flamingo is a low-maintenance plant, that can be grown in a pot and is ideal for adding height to gardens.
The plants were shared in the Bargain Lovers group on Facebook and quickly racked up over 1,400 likes and 800 comments.
B&M's current bargains
B&M’s garden centres currently have a whole host of bargains on offer.
For example, the tropical retreat curve plants have been reduced from £20 to £6 and B&M decorative plant feeder is not just £1.
Shoppers have saved hundreds of pounds a year by using B&M’s scanner app.
The scanner lets you see if an item’s price is cheaper than advertised on the shop floor label.
Products that are typically discounted are seasonal items and old stock that B&M is trying to shift.
According to one ex-B&M manager, you’ll want to visit your local branch at 10am on a Wednesday too.
The Chillmax Go Fan is on sale at most other retailers for £18 or more, but B&M has it in stock for £5 instead of £20.
The discount retailer was originally selling Surf Limited Edition Winter Indulgence Vanilla & Oud Liquid Detergent for £2.99 but has now reduced it by a whopping 96 per cent.
Remember you can find your nearest B&M branch by using the retailer’s store locator tool on its website.
