Second phase of Iranian legislative election began today
Iranian media have reported that Ayatollah Khamenei went to cast his vote in the early hours of the second round of Iran’s Islamic Consultative Assembly elections.
The voting process for the second round of the twelfth Islamic Consultative Assembly elections in Iran started at 8 AM today, Friday, May 10, and is still ongoing.
Meanwhile, media in the country have reported that the voting process for the second round of the twelfth session of the Islamic Consultative Assembly of Iran is currently being held in 22 electoral districts.
It is noteworthy that in this round of elections, 90 candidates are competing for 45 seats across 22 electoral districts. These districts include Tabriz, Shabestar, Mianeh, Parsabad, Semirom, Lenjan, Karaj, Tehran, Varamin, Birjand, Mashhad, Abadan, Ramhormoz, Khodabandeh, Zanjan, Shiraz, Marvdasht, Khorramabad, Qaemshahr, Malayer, Kermanshah, and Gonbad-e Kavus.
