FORECAST DISCUSSION:
Good Thursday Evening,
It has been an almost seasonal day earlier, but as showers have moved in, temps have dropped back into the lower 60s this evening. Expect showers, and a few rumbles before about 2am, as a low will push across the area, some gusty winds, and brief heavy rains possible, with lows near 50. Friday will see some isolated sprinkles, but skies will gradually thin out a bit, with a cooler day expected with highs in the middle 60s.
Friday night expect cool conditions, with lows in the mid to upper 40s. Our next system will quickly dive south by daybreak on Saturday, and will bring a chance of showers and a few rumbles early on Saturday. There will be a lull behind this line, and winds will pick up as temps will struggle into the lower to mid 60s with a brisk west to northwest wind. During the afternoon to early evening, expect scattered showers and a few rumbles possible.
The activity will wane Saturday evening as drier air and high pressure works in right in time for Mother's Day Sunday. Sunday will be mostly sunny, with highs back into the upper 60s to lower 70s. Skies will slowly cloud up on Monday with a few isolated pop-ups late day on Monday with highs back in the middle to upper 70s.
We will see rain and storm chances ramp up to on and off on Tuesday with highs in the lower 70s, or about normal for this time of the year. Expect a few isolated showers, but more sunshine on Wednesday, and that should push temps in the middle 70s. More sunshine is expected on Thursday, with muggy air, and highs in the upper 70s, we will have a few late day pop ups possible.
