FORECAST DISCUSSION:
Good Wednesday Evening,
We are going to continue with our unsettled weather pattern over the next day, followed by cooler air for the end of the week and into the weekend. Tonight we will be watching as a boundary will lift north and stall in our area, bringing back rain and storm chances with lows in the lower 60s.
Thursday that boundary and the low off to the west will be the focal point for possible pop up showers and a few non-severe rumbles of thunder. The rain and storm chances will pull east tomorrow evening with the low, high temps will be in the upper 60s to near 70.
Friday expect a cooler day with wrap around clouds, isolated sprinkles, and a cool day with highs only in the lower 60s. Friday night will be a cool night, with lows dropping into the upper 40s to mid 40s outside of town. Saturday expect more thundershowers possible, with mostly cloudy skies and highs in the middle 60s. Rain showers will end by the evening, and we will see some clearing overnight.
This will set us up for a nice Mother's Day Sunday with highs in the upper 60s with just a few clouds. Warmer air and rain chances will return on Monday, with highs in the mid 50s, and a few isolated late day pop-ups. Tuesday expect a few stray storms late in the day with highs again in the mid to upper 70s.
Next Wednesday we will have slightly better chances of storms returning, but not a washout at all, with highs in the upper 70s as a low builds to our west.
