Four top cinematographers will reveal secrets behind their projects when they join Gold Derby’s special “Meet the Experts” Q&A event with 2024 Emmy Awards and other TV awards contenders. They will participate in two video discussions to premiere on Wednesday, May 15, at 4:00 p.m. PT; 7:00 p.m. ET. We’ll have a one-on-one with our senior editor Christopher Rosen and a roundtable chat with all of the group together.

Fallout
Synopsis: In a future, post-apocalyptic Los Angeles brought about by nuclear decimation, citizens must live in underground bunkers to protect themselves from radiation, mutants and bandits.
Bio: Stuart Dryburgh was an Oscar nominee for “The Piano” and Emmy nominee for “Boardwalk Empire.” Other projects have included “The Secret Life of Walter Mitty” and “Ben Is Back.”
Shogun
Synopsis: When a mysterious European ship is found marooned in a nearby fishing village, Lord Yoshii Toranaga discovers secrets that could tip the scales of power and devastate his enemies.
Bio: Christopher Ross’ career has included “Blackout,” “Yesterday,” “Cats” and “The Swimmers.”
Fargo
Synopsis: Various chronicles of deception, intrigue, and murder in and around frozen Minnesota. All of these tales mysteriously lead back one way or another to Fargo, North Dakota.
Bio: Dana Gonzales was an Emmy winner for “Fargo” among his four nominations for that series. He was also nominated for “Legion” and “Hanna.”
The Crown
Synopsis: Follows the political rivalries and romances of Queen Elizabeth II’s reign and the events that shaped Britain for the second half of the 20th century.
Bio: Adriano Goldman is a two-time Emmy winner for “The Crown” among five nominations. Other projects have included “Jane Eyre,” “August: Osage County” and “Andor.”
