Albany Medical Center appoints new general director
ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Albany Medical Center Hospital has appointed longtime area pediatric ENT Dr. Jason Mouzakes as their new general director. Dr. Mouzakes served as chair of the Department of Otolaryngology at Albany Medical Center and professor of Otolaryngology and Pediatrics at Albany Medical College.
As general director, Dr. Mouzakes will oversee the employees of the med center's 766-bed hospital and manage ambulatory services, hospital ancillary services, emergency management, and medical and regulatory affairs. He has served as interim director since December 2023.
