Fast-moving morning storm to drench NY, NJ before clearing out

NEW YORK (PIX11) – Heavy rain is making its way to the tri-state area Wednesday morning.
PIX11 meteorologists said the fast-moving storm will hit around the end of the morning commute. The rain can lead to some localized flooding.
The wet weather is expected to move out of the area by 9 a.m. Temperatures will hit 80 degrees by the afternoon in New York City.
Temperatures will drop back down to 70 degrees by Thursday, with highs only reaching 57 degrees on Friday.
The weekend is expected to be cool and cloudy, with rain possible on Sunday.
