Schenectady Police have made an arrest in the Crane Street shots fired incident that happened Tuesday around 1:00 p.m. Police have not released the name of the suspect at this time.

3. 100 years since vote to form Great Sacandaga Lake
May 7, 2024, marked 100 years since officials voted to build the Great Sacandaga Lake. The Hudson River Regulating District voted in 1924 to build a dam and create a reservoir as a way of controlling the flow of the Hudson and Sacandaga Rivers.
4. Questions remain around preserving the St. Rose legacy
The College of St. Rose has its last day of class on Wednesday with the final commencement on Saturday. However, preserving the college’s 104-year history remains in question.
5. 68 fallen officers honored at New York State Memorial Remembrance Ceremony
In honor of the dozens of lives that have been lost across New York’s various law enforcement agencies, an annual ceremony was held in Albany on Tuesday. The ceremony began with a mass held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church to remember 68 officers who have fallen.
