Brotherhood Playoff Watch - Boston Wins But Dallas Falls
And neither game was close
In Tuesday’s Brotherhood Playoff Action, Boston trashed Cleveland 120-95 and OKC hammered Dallas 117-95.
By his standards, Jayson Tatum had a quiet game with 18 points, 11 rebounds and five assists. Derrick White and Jaylen Brown had higher scoring games with 25 and 32 points respectively.
In Oklahoma City, Kyrie Irving had 20 points, one rebound and three assists while Dereck Lively had two points, four rebounds and an assist in 13 minutes off the bench.
What’s clear now is that the NBA is undergoing a major change as a new generation is taking charge. LeBron James, Steph Curry, Kevin Durant - those guys aren’t at the party. Now we’re seeing Anthony Edwards, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Chet Holmgren, Tatum, Isaiah Mobley - in other words, a whole new class of players, and although they’re no longer in the playoffs, that includes Brotherhood members Zion Williamson and Paolo Banchero, because those guys are coming to the party also.
