Police close road in downtown Topeka after crash
TOPEKA (KSNT) — One person sustained life-threatening injuries in a crash between a car and a motorcycle in downtown Topeka Tuesday.
At around 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 7, The Topeka Police Department Watch Commander said officers are currently at First Street and Topeka Boulevard. Northbound traffic at Third Street and Topeka Boulevard is currently blocked. Topeka Police told 27 News there is no estimated time for the road to reopen.
The individual suffering life threatening injuries was taken to an area hospital. The Topeka Police Accident Reconstruction Team is on scene currently investigating the incident.
