Four in custody, two at-large in Columbus trafficking, drug ring indictment
COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) -- Four people are in custody while two more remain at-large after being indicted on felony charges for being involved in a Columbus drug and human trafficking ring.
The office of Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost announced on Tuesday that members of a Linden-area ring are facing dozens of charges pertaining to human and drug trafficking in addition to prostitution, money laundering, and more. Tips were received in the spring and the indictments were returned on April 24.
The Central Ohio Human Trafficking Task Force seized suspected narcotics and five firearms during a search warrant. Four of the six people in the indictment have been taken into custody. The four in custody and the felony charges they face and the number of counts for each charge include:
Timotheus Graham, 38: Engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity (1), trafficking in persons (3), compelling prostitution (3), promoting prostitution (3), trafficking and possession of fentanyl-related compound (4), cocaine trafficking and possession (4), aggravated drug trafficking and drug possession (2), money laundering (1), and having weapons under disability (5)
Jessica Lyles, 33: Engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity (1), compelling prostitution (1), money laundering (1), and promoting prostitution (1)
Sandra Carroll, 59: Engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity (1) and permitting drug abuse (2)
Mynika Winters, 30: Engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity (1) and permitting drug use (1)
Carroll and Graham were both arraigned last week in Franklin County Common Pleas with Graham receiving a $1 million bond and Carroll a $100,000 bond. Winter and Lyles' arraignment dates have not been set.
Two of the suspects indicted have not been taken into custody. Deanna Mundy, 30, and Roxy Porter, 35, each face at least seven felony charges. Those charges include:
- Engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity
- Trafficking in a fentanyl-related compound
- Possession of a fentanyl-related compound
- Cocaine trafficking
- Cocaine possession
- Money laundering
- Aggravated drug trafficking (Mundy)
- Aggravated drug possession (Mundy)
- Having weapons under disability (Porter)
