Burglars crash vehicle through New Britain gas station, steal cash register and cigarettes
Police are investigating an early-morning break-in at a gas station in New Britain where a group of thieves crashed a vehicle to get into the convenience store.
The break-in was reported around 4 a.m. when police officers received a burglary alarm at the Stop & Shop gas station on West Main Street, according to the New Britain Police Department.
Police said a group backed a vehicle through the door before stealing an empty cash register and cigarettes.
No additional information has been released. Police are still investigating.
