‘Feels like you’re at the cinema’ rave Amazon shoppers as 55-inch 4K TV is slashed from £349 to £278
AMAZON has dropped the price of a 4K television by 20% and it’s proved a massive hit with buyers.
Shoppers are going crazy for the 55-inch TCL P63K smart television, which has been slashed from £349 to just £278.

This isn’t the first TCL television I’ve spotted on Amazon’s best-selling TVs list in recent times.
Just last week, I found a 26% discount on the 40-inch TCL SF540K that Amazon shoppers are recommending for bedrooms. (It’s still on sale for £178, by the way.)
But if you’re looking for a new telly for your living room, this 55-inch set from the same brand’s P63K range is probably the one that’s catching your eye.
Once you get into this size range of TVs, you may be tempted to go that one size up and invest in the 65-inch set (£398).
But my advice is to buy cautiously, and ensure you have enough viewing space to properly appreciate your new TV’s screen. Big is by no means better.

The TCL P63K is most definitely a budget-end television, without the QLED/OLED screens or AI-powered tech that you’ll find in higher-end options.
For TVs of that calibre, you’ll need to spend on the far side of £500. And despite that sub-£300 price tag, the TCL P63K is still an impressive-looking television.
The HDR function – always nice to see on a cheap 4K TV – will deliver stronger contrasts and more vibrant colours.
Naturally, you’ll have access to Netflix, Disney+ and all your other apps and services via the Android TV smart platform.
Audio is powered by Dolby; voice control is available thanks to Alexa compatibility. All in all, a decent range of specs.
But curiously, it’s that expansive screen that Amazon shoppers are raving about in their online reviews.
One buyer writes: ‘A great TV for the price, [the] picture quality is fantastic – feels like you’re at the cinema. Easy to set up.’
Another shopper comments: ‘The 4K Ultra HD screen is a visual treat. The clarity and sharpness of the images are top-notch, and the colours are vivid and lifelike… Watching content on this TV is a delightful experience.’
‘Far exceeded my expectations,’ says another online reviewer. ‘A great set of features for the price.’
